On 3rd of March 2022, Saudi Global Ports (SGP) handled a record 18,021 TEUs on the container ship ‘COSCO SHIPPING CAPRICORN’.

This event also sets the record for the highest TEUs handled in a single vessel call in the history of Saudi Arabia’s seaports. Operated by COSCO SHIPPING LINES (COSCO), this vessel is part of the Ocean Alliance MEA5 service that connects Dammam to the Far East.
